Next Paradigm Records is continually committed to bringing more diversity in gender and youth to our roster of artists. We are so thrilled and excited to introduce to from Rochester, New York and 26 year old Taryn Sunchild; Next Paradigm’s newest signed member! No better way than kicking it off by featuring the iconic Pamela Williams “The Saxtress”. This catchy groovin’ composition “She’s In Her Bag” showcases Taryn’s impeccable flute tone coupled with the unmatched presence of Pamela Williams.

Taryn Sunchild, Upstate New York native, learned flute, Saxophone, and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument) as a child, studying under her father the acclaimed local jazz saxophone hero of Rochester, Jimmie Tjari Highsmith. Blending the sounds of contemporary jazz and classical music, Taryn Sunchild also incorporates musical elements from her background and education at The prestigious EASTMAN SCHOOL of MUSIC, one of the most sought out music conservatories in the world.
